This document refers to personal data, which is defined as information concerning any living person (a natural person who hereafter will be called the Data Subject) that is not already in the public domain. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) seeks to protect and enhance the rights of data subjects. It should be noted that GDPR does not apply to information already in the public domain.

The intent of this privacy statement is to detail the information Blocworx may gather about individuals who visit its website and how that information is used. Blocworx uses, discloses, transfers and otherwise processes data, including Personal Information, in several ways. Personal Data includes Name, Address, Telephone Number, Email, Company Name.

Blocworx uses the information collected from you to provide quotations, make telephone contact and to email you marketing information which Blocworx believes may be of interest to you and your business. In you making initial contact you consent to Blocworx maintaining a marketing dialogue with you until you either opt out (which you can do at any stage) or we decide to desist in promoting our services.

Some personal data may be collected about you from the forms and surveys you complete, from records of our correspondence and phone calls and details of your visits to our website, including but not limited to personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We may from time to time use such information to identify its visitors. Blocworx may also collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its website.

Blocworx websites use cookies, which is a series of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser delivers to the website each time the visitor returns. Third Party Service Providers

In order to support our operations, we depend on several Service Providers. They help us with various services such as payment processing, web audience analysis, cloud hosting, marketing and communication, etc.

Each time we share data with these Service Providers, we ensure that they use it in compliance with Data Protection legislation, and that the processing they carry out for us is limited to our specific purpose and covered by a specific data processing contract.

Data Subject Rights

If you have an account on blocworx.com, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Policy Updates

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, in order to clarify it, to reflect any changes to our website or to comply with legal obligations. The “Last Updated” mention at the top of the policy indicates the last revision, which is also the effective date of those changes.
